Relax at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs

In Nathrop, Colorado, about 2 hours from Denver, the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs is a relaxing spot to unwind and catch up with your friends. Mt. Princeton provides lodging with the option to join an adult only, spa & club section. Day passes include the historic bath house, Creekside hot springs, and the upper pools and infinity pool. The hot springs additionally offer a sauna, spa treatments, a steam room, and fitness classes, with plenty of activities to fill your day.

As the resort runs year-round, be sure to check back in the winter. There’s nothing like relaxing in the hot springs as snow falls and temperatures plummet. The Mt Princeton Hot Springs also doubles as a wedding venue as well and would be a great option for Bachelorette parties!

Explore Red Rocks

Partake in one of Colorado’s most iconic activities and attend a concert at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. Built into red rocks at the base of the Rocky Mountains, the amphitheater is a uniquely breathtaking structure. On a clear day you can see the Denver Skyline past the amphitheaters stage! Even without attending a concert, visitors can check out the amphitheater space, hike one of the many trails within this same area or attend a Yoga on the Rocks Class. Red Rocks is in Morrison, Colorado, just 15 miles from Denver, making it a quintessential Colorado girls trip. Make sure you check the weather before heading up to Morrison!

Brunch at Snooze AM

After a long weekend of exploring, you and your crew must be starving! We suggest Snooze AM, a breakfast and brunch hot spot with several Denver area locations. Snooze offers a large menu of egg-based dishes, sweeter breakfast options, breakfast burritos, benedicts, as well as plant-based options! It is also very affordable for those looking to dine on a budget.

Experience Downtown Denver

downtown denver

Downtown Denver is one of the most popular areas for girl trips! The city is walkable making it easy to get to tons of shops and restaurants in a short amount of time. If your group is looking for a way to relax, make your way over to Alchemy Spa. With several locations in Denver, they give amazing facials and massages.

Denver’s Rino Arts District also offers opportunities to appreciate unique street art and check out Denver’s hip breweries and restaurants. Denver’s Botanic Gardens near Cheesman Park are also an amazing way to spend quality time with friend, while appreciating the beautiful and varied plant species.

Discover Idaho Springs

Idaho Springs, Colorado, just a half hour from Denver, is said to be the official start of the Colorado Gold Rush! It is both a beautiful area and a town ripe with history dating back to these early mining days. One of my personal favorite things to do in Idaho Springs is to head over to Arkansas Valley Adventures and take on a  Rafting, Ziplining or Via Ferrata Adventure.

I chose a Zipline trip for my bachelorette party, and it was the best choice, I ever made! The cliffside zipline is a 6-line course that takes you high into the tree tops above Idaho Springs and the Chicago Creek. This trip is a great option if you are looking to step out of your comfort zone and bond with your crew!

Once you finish this Cliffside Zipline adventure with your ladies, you must check out Clear Creek Cidery & Eatery! This restaurant is a terrific spot to try out local Colorado ciders, along with a full bar and menu offering delicious comfort food options in a spacious warehouse setting. Grab a cider and a burger and enjoy some quality moments before heading home from your girls’ trip!

What are you waiting for? Grab your girls, pack up the van, and get your Colorado trip started. And with a MileMarker Van Rental, everyone in your group can ride together, so no one missed out on any adventure!
